This package features a
comprehensive temples itinerary which we will happily adapt to suit your interests. We work with you to ensure you get the most out of your time in Siem Reap.
We start with the three temples that you can’t leave Siem Reap without seeing; Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm; in following days we see Tonle Sap - The Great Lake and and enjoy the passing scenery of local villages and markets followed by a trip to the National Silk Centre.

The Angkor Park has many temples, some close some a long way away. We have tried to give you a combination in this itinerary and still allowing time for rest and relaxation to make sure you aren’t “templed out”. Also some time to enjoy the cafes, galleries and markets, or perhaps have a look at some of the other local tourists attractions.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Airport pickup and transfer to The RiverGarden

Transfer to The RiverGarden for check in.
Orientation tour of Siem Reap Town.
Depending on arrival time choose from one of the following; shopping in the Old and Centre markets, War museum or Artisans Stone and Wood centre visit.

Your day one activities are dependent on your arrival time and of course your interests.  We will happily discuss all options when you arrive.
4.30pm  Depart The RiverGarden for an evening trip to one of our specially selected temples.  Enjoy our sunset pack of wine, cheese and olives 
6.30pm
At around 6.30 pm you return to The RiverGarden

Day 2 - Temples of Angkor
This is the first day of your three day temple pass.
Your private guide and driver transport you to Angkor Wat.  Explore this incredible monument at your leisure and gain an insight into the Khmer Empire.  Our guides are some of the most experienced in Siem Reap, and are committed to ensuring you get the very best out of your Angkor experience. 

Following Angkor Wat your guide takes you on to the ancient city of Angkor Thom. Explore temples including the famous Bayon, Phimeanakas, Royal Palace, Kleangs, Preah Pithu Group, and unlock the secrets of the Terrace of the Leper King and Elephant Terrace. Your guide We will ensure you see all the best well known sights as well as those that many miss. 

The timings for this day are flexible.  We will discuss with you the best times to miss the crowds, and your guide and driver will work with you to establish a plan that suits your individual needs.  Please note these temples are suggestions and we will work with you closely on where to go, and what to see. 

This evening you could head out to town and explore the many galleries, restaurants or cafes.  Pick up a few souvenirs at the local markets or perhaps take advantage of some very affordable aromatherapy massage in the privacy of your room.

Day 3 - Jungle Temples
6.00am We suggest an early start today heading off to Ta Prohm before the masses of crowds arrive.
This is a very special temple and the early start makes for a spectacular experience. 

Enjoy a peaceful Sunrise Breakfast before heading off for a day of temple explorations.  Visit Preah Khan – Temple of the sacred sword, Ta Som, Banteay Kdei, Banteay Samre, just to name a few.

If you are a little "templed ot" head out to The National Silk Centre.  The trip our takes you past rice paddies, buffaloes and local villages.  Enjoy a really interesting tour of the farm including breeding of Cambodian Silk Worms, silk extraction process and through the creation of some amazing pieces
The centre also exhibits some fantastic old looms as well as traditional Khmer dance costumes.
The restaurant is a sensational place to unwind with a coffee overlooking the rice paddies.

Day 4 - Outlying Temples
Head out of Angkor Park to some of the outlying temples. Visit Banteay Srei the most intricately carved temple in all of Angkor.  Following Banteay Srei we journey on to Kbal Spean. Enjoy a walk through the jungle, to the river that is a temple. Carved into the river bed are a number of incredible sights. Your trip out takes you through local villages providing some fantastic photo stops. 

6.30pm Enjoy a evening and experience a local Shadow Puppets perfromance or Apsara dance.

Day 5 - The Stilted Village Kompong Phhluk and Tonle Sap, The Great Lake
After a relaxing breakfast you head off for the stilted Village of Kompong Phhluk.
This guided day trip gives you an incredible insight into the ‘real’ Cambodian village life on the great lake Tonle Sap. Journey through local villages, explore the flooded forest and take a relaxing trip out to the lake. This is an amazing adventure. Tours to Kompong Phhluk are seasonal and depend on access, we may sometime changethis tour to The Great Lake and the floating villages as required.

Spend the afternoon exploring around town or head across for a swim. This is a really nice way to unwind after the temples.

Day 6 - Airport transfer

Your options for this day really depend on your departure time from Siem Reap.  Siem Reap town offers some great shopping, interesting galleries and plenty of cafes and restaurants.

Outlying Temples
We provide a trip out of Angkor Park to some of the Outlying temples, some 30km away. The transport and lunch packs are included.


Temple Packs (per person)
We give you a yummy Temple Pack filled with two drinks each of your choice and a sandwich or food that you have selected from ourTemple Pack menu. All of this is packed to ensure its kept cool and fresh.   

Tuk Tuk Drivers and Transport
We will provide you with a dedicated Tuk Tuk driver. These drivers are selected as they have good
English skills and a proven track record with us and our guests.
Please note drivers are not allowed to accompany you into any temples.
Tuk Tuk drivers may be available for additional days so check with reception to book.

Tuk Tuk
is a little trailer cart attached to a motorbike.
Our Tuk Tuk driver is booked for you for the day at the temples.
If you would like to return for a break during the day and then head
out again then that is perfectly ok.
Tuk Tuks are a fun experience
and provide natural air-conditioning.

Other modes of transport can be provided at a different rate.
 

Professional Guide Service
We provide you with one full day of English Speaking guide services. Our guides are experienced and are guaranteed to enhance your temple experience. If you require a guide with other than English language skills a
n additional fee will apply. If you wish to book your guide for additional days the rate is $25 - 30 per day.
Please note you must book this in advance to secure a guide.

Airport Transfers
We provide airport, boat dock or bus station
transfers by Tuk Tuk..
Other modes of transport can be provided at a different rate.

Outlying Temples

Sunset Pack
We  provide a bottle of either red or white wine and a selection of cheese and olives with finger foods.  Enjoy this out at a specially chosen temple or
sunset location. The wine pack is pepared for night one, however you may have this whenever you prefer simply let us know in advance.


Your Room
Your booking includes accommodation in a superior room.  This room features air-conditioning, satellite TV, is beautifully furnished and is kept immaculately clean.
  You can upgrade your room to Deluxe for as little as $11 per night.

Temples
There are many, many temples to explore.  We have included in this itinerary the must see temples as well as many of the smaller monuments that can unfortunately be missed by some travellers.  Each temple is different so on arrival we generally would chat with you about your preferences and can then adjust to suit your needs.  It is impossible in a short stay to see all the temples, we will work with you to ensure you get to see best ones. This package is designed to give you full flexibility.


Temple Passes
You need to purchase a temple pass to gain access to Angkor Park.
Temples
passes are purchased directly from the Angkor Park Entrance.
The cost for this pass is
not included in our price. Passes come in three main varieties.
Please note that the days are consecutive.
• 1 day $20 • 3 days $40 • 7 days $60  

Three day and 7 day passes require one passport photograph.  We recommend you bring a photo.  Photos can be taken at the gate but often there is a queue.
By purchasing your pass after 4.45pm you can gain one evenings free access. Whilst you don’t have a lot of time at the temples before they close (and it gets dark) you do get a fantastic opportunity to sneak in a sunset trip. 

Please note there are other temples that require a separate pass.  If you take an additional tour to one of these temples you will need to purchase this separately (
eg. Beng Melea $5, Phnom Kulen $20).
