Your day one activities are dependent on your arrival time and of course your interests. We will happily discuss all options when you arrive.
Day 2
Temples of Angkor and Sunset Picnic
Your personal Temple guide and driver transport you to Angkor Wat.
Explore this incredible monument at your leisure, and gain an insight into the Khmer Empire.
We move on to the ancient city of Angkor Thom to see the famous Bayon, Phimeanakas, Royal Palace, Kleangs, Preah Pithu Group, and unlock the secrets of the Terrace of the Leper King and Elephant Terrace.
Your guide will ensure you see all the best well known sights as well as those that many miss.
It has been a full morning and we return to the hotel for a relaxing afternoon before heading out about 4pm for a short boat ride and picnic on West Baray to the temple island and maybe catch the sunset before returning to the hotel.
Day 3
Cooks in Tuk Tuks Cooking Class
After a leisurely breakfast we meet at around 10am for a cooking class in khmer cuisine including a visit to the local produce market. Everyone gets to help prepare the various dishes and enjoy a taste of each at a khmer style lunch at the end of the class around 1.30pm.
Your afternoon is at leisure. Maybe try a massage by the pool for adults while the kids play around the pool.
Day 4
Rolous Temples
After breakfast we meet at around 9am for trip to the Rolous Temples Group. Rolous Temples are an interesting mix and include the notorious Bakong Temple - site of the slaughter of many local people by the Khmer Rouge. We stop at a hand craft work shop specializing in cotton kremars (scarves) and the clay pottery workshop and kiln.
Your afternoon is at leisure so maybe some shopping in town or see more of the sites.
Day 5
Stone Carvers or The Great Lake
Tour
Today you can choose between a fascinating Stone Carvers tour and learn how this ancient craft is being kept alive by a very innovative and caring family of local stone masons.
Or you can take a tour of the floating village on the great lake Tonle Sap.
We arrive back around 2pm and the rest of your afternoon is at leisure.
Day 6
Transfer to your flight
Your options for this day really depend on your departure time from Siem Reap.
Siem Reap town offers some great shopping, interesting galleries and plenty of cafes and restaurants. If you have time maybe book and join a cooking class or just a relax by the pool before departing. Late checkout 1pm
*Please note that Angkor Temple Passes are not included in this tour and are purchased at the gate on entry to the temples.
